In 1988, the first mass-produced rocket altimeter (A1) was developed by Transolve. Timers and locating beepers soon followed. The P series (Peak reading) P1-P5 provided smaller form factors, and expanded functions. For reliable supersonic flight, the P2 altimeter introduced the SID (Supersonic Inhibit Delay). SID has been copied by several other companies.

The Altimeter/Timer/Beeper line was expanded with the Flux Capaciter magnetic apogee detector and Transfire RC launch unit.

Transolve services include low cost repair of all products, and custom pcb design. We have fabricated devices for the military, aerospace, and industrial sectors. Our staff has been trained to NASA-STD-8739.3 (soldering), and NASA-STD-8739.4 (cabling).
